On 12 January 2026, Hu Yuting, Deputy Secretary of the Jilin Provincial Party Committee and Governor of Jilin Province, met with Yan Shengjun, Chairman of CNTY, and his delegation in Changchun to discuss deepening cooperation in the hydrogen energy sector. Present at the meeting were Liu Wei, Vice Governor and Secretary-General of the Provincial Government; Shen Desheng, Secretary of the Liaoyuan Municipal Party Committee; Gao Fei, Mayor of Liaoyuan; Zhao Yanfeng, Director of the Provincial Energy Bureau; Wang Peng, Vice President of CNTY and Chief Commander of the Liaoyuan Project; Han Dan, Chief Scientist of the Hydrogen Energy Industry; and Yang Dong, Carbon Source Director of the Hydrogen Energy Industry and Deputy Chief Commander of the Liaoyuan Project.

Governor Hu expressed gratitude to CNTY for its longstanding support of Jilin's revitalisation and development. He noted that in recent years, CNTY has invested in a series of major projects in Jilin, yielding fruitful results from pragmatic cooperation between both parties. Presently, Jilin Province is leveraging green power initiatives to continuously expand application scenarios, driving the leapfrog development of the new energy industry. It is hoped that CNTY will expedite the completion and commissioning of ongoing projects to realise their benefits, continuously expand its investment in Jilin, vigorously advance new energy development and conversion, and focus on the entire hydrogen energy industry chain encompassing production, storage, transportation, refuelling and utilisation. The company should actively explore application scenarios such as hydrogen metallurgy, green hydrogen heating, green hydrogen power peak shaving, and distributed hydrogen energy stations, thereby becoming a deep strategic partner in Jilin's hydrogen energy sector. Relevant provincial and municipal authorities will persistently cultivate a first-class business environment, innovate cooperation models, and provide comprehensive support services, supporting CNTY's development and expansion in Jilin to achieve more collaborative outcomes.
